			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">In order to set up our next projet, we developed a fully integrated client-server system to support a real-time 3D game coded in C #.</p>

<ul style="text-align: justify;">
<li>client 	side: a game engine connected to a database via an automatic 	database management tool.</li>
<p><br/></p>
<li>server 	side: a server connected to a database via a database management 	tool automatically. User lists are managed with the WordPress 	BackEnd. Automatic data extraction from game (e.g. allowing ranking 	publication) is managed with WordPress too.</li>
</ul>
<p><br/></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">We are pleased to announce that we will release this integration as a <strong>SDK</strong> including <strong>full source code</strong>. All the integration elements are open source or show a free license (limited or not). Only your production requirements or large scale game commercial exploitation will require the purchase of a third party license.</p>
<p><br/></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Klakos the SDK will be available for testing as a DLL</strong> with a set of testing data within 15 days. 10 commercial use licenses will be granted at a price of 5000 € excl. VAT (<strong>world wide, non limited application number, royalty free</strong>).</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">We just released a version re-packaged of URUK&#8217;s Chronicles on the <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="color: #0000ff;"><a href="http://www.kongregate.com/games/Klakos/uruks-chronicles-volume-1" target="_blank">Kongregate</a></span></span> site. In English, of course. It must be said, the games localized in French are not so popular in United States <img src='http://klakos.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p><br/></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Kongregate is an online portal for games linked to Unity 3D comunity. That&#8217;s why we choose it for our first publication. However, we will publish this version of URUK&#8217;s Chronicles on other portals soon.</p>
<p><br/></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In this version, URUK have been re-packaged so it no longer connects to our online databases. Indeed, it was a sine qua non condition for rapid publication. Various game commands are available. You can now use the keyboard to move (arrow pad or WASD for french keyboard, press alt shift to switch from qwerty to azerty and obtain WASD), or mouse (press F12 to switch to mouse mode, which suits a lot of users, in this case it&#8217;s easier to configure attacks with keyboard). Various tooltips have also been incorporated.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">URUK&#8217;s Chronicles : Volume 1, as its name suggests, is the first one of a series, a very long one we hope. Of course, each volume will make the story progress. Each volume will also better the gameplay and make the features, always in Hack and slash style, going to MMO and social gaming.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Every day makes Klakos nearer the company constitution. The last stage is our installation in business offices (finally!). We were thus able to enlarge the team&#8230; if you want to know why, you might visit us at <a title="MIG" href="http://www.montpellieringame.com/" target="_blank">MIG</a> on June 19th and 20th!</p>

<h1><strong>Blender for Game prototyping</strong></h1>
<p><br/></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In order to produce its first prototype of a stand alone game, Klakos&#8217;s team developed a production pipeline with Blender. In addition to an intranet and a source version control solution, it constitutes a complete tool efficient in a team work context. Blender provides a very good potential on the video game market with tools covering all the tasks needed in a video game production : animation, AI, Python programing language, physics, sounds etc&#8230;</p>
<p><br/><br />
We think that one of the biggest strength of Blender is the integrated game engine which allows to visualize and modify complex scenes in real-time. It makes Blender a unique tool in the market. As for us Blender cannot be used in its current state for complex published games because of the way to manage logic bricks, the lack of a full binary exports tool, some Blender features are not reachable from Python and the lighting engine performances.<br />
<br/><br />
Blender can find a real place in professional game development studios with several adjustments. We think that plugins allowing connection to commercial game engines could enlarge its use.<br/><br/></p>
